Chnia Williams studied Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems at Green Mountain College in Vermont, where she immersed herself in the intricacies of cultivating healthy and environmentally conscious food practices.

After college, Chnia embarked on a mission to educate children about the sciences of gardening and food. In 2017, her frustration with dairy alternative products led her to start a small food business, which she operated until 2020. This experience heightened her interest in food production and product development, prompting her to delve into the science behind the processing and development of food products found in grocery stores.

Motivated by her newfound passion, Chnia combined her college knowledge and small business experience to create an enrichment program. Her program aims to promote discussions on better food choices, nutrition, and the impact of food and health.

Our program encourages students to brainstorm ways to improve popular snacks to make them healthier and more inclusive. This promotes discussions on better food choices, nutrition, and the impact of food and health.
